OUT! Caught. Rashid Khan to Soumya Sarkar. Leg spinner length ball, middle stump on the front foot defending, bat-pad to short leg, by Zadran. Who else but that man. When Afghanistan need something special they turn to Rashid and he always delivers. Perfectly bowled on the stumps making Sarkar play and with a hint of turn off the wicket the inside edge is found. Short leg clings on to the ball and the wild celebrations start. What a Test match we have had and a fitting way for Mohammad Nabi to end his red ball career. There have been ups and downs but eventually the best team came out on top. Bangladesh tried everything in the final few overs but nothing was going to stop the Afghans, not even the weather, from clinching victory after they had played so well for the previous four days.Plenty of stand-out performances for them. Not just a maiden century for Rahmat Shah, but an impressive 87 from their young opener Ibrahim Zadran as well as 11 wickets in the match for Rashid Khan. Outstanding game of cricket and Afghanistan have shown they are no pushovers in Tests.

OUT! Caught & Bowled. Mehedi Hasan to Rashid Khan. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled back to bowler, by Miraz. Good way to end the innings for Bangladesh. Smart return catch from Mehedi as Rashid Khan attempts to pop the ball over his head for a single but can't get the elevation. Brilliant stuff from the visitors all round. Their highest ever Test score to go along with a century from Rahmat Shah and fifties from Asghar Afghan and Rashid. One good thing is that the wicket doesn't look too bad at the moment so batting should be relatively easy once the batsmen get in and settled.

OUT! Caught. Shakib Al Hasan to Yamin Ahmadzai. Stock length ball, off stump on the front foot defending, inside edge to first slip, by Sarkar. Exactly what the review system is there for. Bangladesh knew there was a clear inside edge onto the pad and Shakib reviewed it immediately once he realised the umpire wasn't giving it out. Just the one wicket remaining for Afghanistan, how many can Rashid Khan muster?

OUT! Caught. Shakib Al Hasan to Qais Ahmad. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, inside edge to silly point, by Haque. As simple as silly point catches come. Popped up off the pad, via the inside edge, and Mominul makes no mistakes. Clever bowling from Shakib taking all the pace off the ball and getting it to drift into the batsman.

FOUR! Shakib Al Hasan to Hashmatullah Shahidi. Stock ball half volley, middle stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep extra cover for 4 runs. Fluent drive through the gap. Overpitched and pounced on by the left hander. Every run is crucial.

OUT! Caught & Bowled. Shakib Al Hasan to Rahmat Shah. Stock length ball, outside off stump down the track defending, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled back to bowler, by Al Hasan. Two in two. What a start this has been from Shakib and how quickly do things change. The centurion from the first innings is gone first ball, chipping a tame return catch to the bowler. Didn't get to the pitch and with an angled bat there was only one way this was going to end.

OUT! L.B.W. Shakib Al Hasan to Ihsanullah. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, hit pad to. Goes on with the arm. Nice set up from Shakib after two wider floaty deliveries before the straighter one which is a touch flatter. Strikes the front pad and this looks plumb.

NEW BALL. FOUR! Shakib Al Hasan to Ihsanullah. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long on for 4 runs. Four runs to greet Shakib. Only slightly overpitched and Ihsanullah was not wasting any time in getting into his groove.

OUT!

OUT! L.B.W. Rashid Khan to Taijul Islam. Googly half volley, to leg on the front foot defending, inside edge to. Rashid strikes again. To a new batsman he is deadly with his variations and Taijul had no chance. There could have been some bat involved but as Bangladesh have wasted both of their reviews Taijul is going to have to go. One more wicket left.

OUT! L.B.W. Rashid Khan to Mehidy Hasan. Googly length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, hit pad to. Wild scenes as Rashid traps Mehedi plumb in front. Didn't pick the googly and ended up playing all around his front pad. Could this be the opening Afghanistan need? No reviews left for the home side either which could prove costly.

OUT! Caught. Zahir Khan to Shakib Al Hasan. Left-Arm Leg Spin length ball, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, bottom edge to wicketkeeper, by Zazai. Dream start for Afghanistan. First ball after the lengthy rain break and Shakib gets out caught behind. Loose shot to play so soon and now he has to sit and wait in the dressing room to see if he team can see it out for the draw.

OUT! Caught. Rashid Khan to Mahmudullah. Googly length ball, off stump on the front foot defending, bat-pad to short leg, by Zadran. On the money with the googly. OUT! L.B.W. Mohammad Nabi to Shadman Islam. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the front foot defending, hit pad to. Nabi at his very best. Bowling a similar line to the others but instead of turning it he slides one into the pad and traps Shadman in front. Would have gone on to knock over leg stump.

Chasing a wide delivery which is spinning away from him too. Connects with the toe-end of the bat so he has no power in the shot to clear long off. Smart catch from Afghan running back.
